Today the Women Who Change Romania, Gala took place, organized by Fin Team and supported by Piata Financiara.

From Banca Transilvania, Luminita Runcan, Deputy CEO, Risk, received an award and shared the following messages:

• I have had the chance to work and grow in an organization that has always promoted gender diversity, so I join colleagues who have not experienced discrimination over the course of their professional lives.
  
  
• I am the fortunate one accepting this award, but I believe I represent a very large group of professional female colleagues, highly engaged and dedicated to their work in the banking sector and at Banca Transilvania.
  
  
• In Romania’s banking sector, over 70% of employees are women, so I believe we are in pole position when it comes to advancing women in the profession.

Luminita Runcan has been part of the BT team for 27 years, since the bank’s beginnings. She oversees eight of the most challenging areas in the bank, including compliance, risk management, anti-fraud and operational management.
