Banca Transilvania S.A. informs investors that Eurobank and Banca Transilvania have held exclusive negotiations regarding the potential acquisition of Bancpost SA, ERB Retail Services IFN SA and ERB Leasing IFN SA in Romania.

In recent weeks, significant progress has been made towards a positive outcome and the negotiations are close to completion, with the parties going through the final steps towards signing an agreement. The management teams of both parties wish to reaffirm their commitment to concluding a fair transaction that is beneficial to all stakeholders, noting that the signing date is expected no later than the end of November 2017 and will be announced publicly once the necessary formalities have been duly completed.
