The technology education center NewTech Academy and Banca Transilvania are supporting prospective students who will take technology education programs.

The partnership enables course fees to be paid in installments and aims to support and train specialists for roles in high demand on the labor market in the tech sector. Courses can be paid in up to 18 interest-free installments with STAR cards from Banca Transilvania. Among them, the STAR Forte card can be obtained via the BT Pay app, which means access to funds and to the card in approximately 10 minutes.

NewTech Academy’s training programs are aligned with the real needs of employers in Romania and in the region, having been designed in close collaboration with a community of leaders from the technology industry.

NewTech Academy brings to Romania the proven methodology of Wawiwa Tech Training, its global partner, with more than 20 years of international expertise in the field. The program structure was developed by Wawiwa and its team of technology-industry professionals in Israel, in line with global standards, and is used in major training centers in Israel and abroad. NewTech Academy offers reskilling programs for roles in high demand in Romania, such as Full-Stack Developer (9 months), Frontend Developer (6 months) and UI / UX Designer (6 months). Additional programs will be added later, such as those for cybersecurity specialists, data analysts and more.

Designed for live, online or hybrid delivery, the programs run for 250-400 hours, and course schedules are flexible. Students will also have access to mentoring, support in building a professional portfolio, and job-search counseling.
