Banca Transilvania and Visa are launching the RON-denominated card BT Visa Platinum Debit for Premium Banking clients. It is part of the Premium Club Current Account Plan, also launched today by BT, bringing exclusive benefits and services for travel, shopping, restaurants, insurance and leisure.

BT Premium clients have recurring income of over RON 10,000 and/or savings between EUR 75,000 and EUR 200,000 with one of the Banca Transilvania Group companies.

The card is made of metal, and its digital version in the BT Pay app is a first on the market thanks to its holographic-effect design.

Key benefits of the Premium Club Current Account Plan: 

• Access to the Priority Pass program and complimentary or preferential-rate entry to 1,700 airport business lounges across 145 countries and 725 cities;
• Offers on services and products — at restaurants, cafés etc. — through the Visa Premium and Visa Luxury Hotel Collection programs, as well as Visa AirRefund, which facilitates refunds for delayed or cancelled flights;
• Access to the business lounges at the airports in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, using the BT Visa Premium Debit card;
• Roadside assistance services, travel insurance abroad and accident insurance.

Over 100,000 BT Premium clients

The growth in BT Premium client numbers to over 100,000 made us think it would be right for clients to have a dedicated card — the equivalent of business class when we travel, thanks to the associated benefits. We are continuing what we started last year, when we launched Premium Club, to support prosperity through new product and service launches, exclusive offers and human banking.
