Cătălin Caragea has received NBR approval to serve as Deputy CEO, Chief Risk Officer at Banca Transilvania.

Cătălin Caragea joined Banca Transilvania Group with over 20 years of experience in risk management at banks in Romania and abroad — at Raiffeisen Bank Romania, BCR and Erste Group Vienna. At Banca Transilvania, he will lead the risk management function, including compliance, anti-fraud, information and technology security, risk and credit analysis, as well as operational risk management.
