Transilvania Executive Education (TEE), Banca Transilvania (BT) and EVERGENT Investments, in partnership with Republica.ro, have launched a competition offering four partial scholarships worth a total of EUR 32,000 for the TEE Executive MBA – General Management. The program is entirely British, and the degree is awarded by the University of Buckingham.
Applicants must have at least three years of post‑graduate professional experience in an executive role and an advanced level of English. They can apply by November 25 this year, inclusive.
Calendar:
- On November 17, from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., a Q&A session will take place via Zoom, led by Andrew Taylor, Director of the Executive MBA program;
- November 25 – application deadline on the MBA website;
- November 26–December 8: Candidate assessment;
- December 9: Scholarship winners announced on Transilvania Executive Education’s website and social media channels.
To apply to the competition, you will need the following:
1. Completing the two steps in the competition application form, available on the TEE website:
- a business plan using the template in the application form;
- an essay answering the question: What are the most important challenges managers will face in 2023 and what solutions should they develop/implement?
2. A CV in English and/or a link to your LinkedIn profile included in the application email. We recommend including all professional, academic and social achievements in your CV.
3. A letter of recommendation in English from a business partner or employer.
4. Sending the above documents to office@teecluj.ro by November 25 this year (inclusive).
“ If you’re thinking of applying for a scholarship, here are a few tips: when writing your application, our recommendation is to demonstrate, in writing, that you think analytically and critically. In other words, you can use models and theories to identify patterns, to make sense of the solutions you propose, and you can see the strategic implications, issues and opportunities in your explanations. The Executive MBA program is designed to develop this capability, so after the two years of study you will see major changes in your management style, as well as in the community you are part of. Good luck!,” says Andrew Taylor, Director of the Executive MBA program.
Executive MBA courses start on February 15, 2023. They are organized into 12 modules — strategy, leadership, systems thinking, economics, complexity, governance and digital transformation — taught by faculty from universities in Europe, the United States and Romania.
