Banca Transilvania customers can withdraw cash from ATMs using their phone, via the BT Pay and Apple Pay apps – this was BT’s message in July 2019, marking a first in Romania. What’s more, the bank also announced at the time that the option is available to customers who use contactless accessories from the BT Pay collection, and that cash withdrawals at BT ATMs can be made even without inserting the card into the machine.

For all this, Banca Transilvania received the Pioneer Award at the NOCASH Gala, held in Bucharest on September 30 this year. BT was represented by Alina Fanatan, Loyalty Program Manager.

The winners were selected based on the votes of 80 specialists from the NOCASH community.
