BT Go has passed the 600,000-company mark for businesses using the app for business and banking in Romania.

Also, starting now, users have access in BT Go to a virtual assistant (Chat BT), powered by artificial intelligence, which provides information in Romanian and English about the app’s functionalities, as well as about Banca Transilvania’s products and services for entrepreneurs. Customers can also choose to continue the conversation via chat with a member of the bank’s team.

BT Go in numbers

The first five months of this year saw the following:

• Over 5,000 companies opened accounts 100% online via BT Go
• Almost 24 million transactions
• Transactions totaling RON 288 billion
• Around 720,000 FX conversions
• 75,500 new deposits totaling RON 6.8 billion
• Over 2,000 cards issued directly from BT Go
• 5 million account statements downloaded

31,000 companies using BT Go have an account in FGO, the invoicing solution.

BT Go’s rating is 4.7 (in the App Store) and 4.8 (in Google Play Store). The app also recorded a very high Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 82 (out of 100), based on feedback from customers who opened an account in BT Go during January–May 2026.

AI integration. Pilot phase

Chat BT went through a pilot phase of about one month, during which 5,000 unique customers had 35,000 interactions with the virtual assistant. It helps entrepreneurs quickly find information about operations, payments, statements and BT products, contributing to more efficient day-to-day workflows.

We are seeing accelerated growth in user numbers, transaction volumes and adoption for BT Go. We’re bringing solutions that, thanks to technology, improve efficiency by expanding payment capabilities, most of them linked to account statements and workflow optimisation. Our goal is for BT Go to become the business platform for every entrepreneur, thanks to the day-to-day solutions it provides.
