Awards: BT – Bank of the Year, Omer Tetik – Banker of the Year, and George Calinescu – Young Banker of the Year

Banca Transilvania received three awards at the Bank of the Year Gala, an event organized by MasterCard and the publication Wall-street.ro.

The awards were as follows:

Banca Transilvania – Bank of the Year
Omer Tetik, CEO, BT: Banker of the Year
George Calinescu, CFO, BT: Young Banker of the Year

The winners were selected through a competition dedicated to excellence in banking. The jury was made up of about 30 professionals from various fields – banking, IT, telecoms, economists, brokers, university professors, etc.

For BT, the three awards are a recognition of the results achieved during 2015 and beyond.
