Banca Transilvania customers can also manage their money at a state-of-the-art, 100% contactless ATM with no card slot. It is located in Bucharest, at Promenada Mall. Cash can be withdrawn with a phone, via the BT Pay app and Apple Pay, with any of the BT Pay collection accessories and with BT contactless cards. This is also available to BT customers who use the NEO private beta app.

At the end of July this year, BT became the first bank in Romania to let customers withdraw cash contactlessly at ATMs using their phone or by tapping their card, without inserting it into the slot. Over three months, Banca Transilvania customers made more than 600,000 contactless ATM withdrawals.

With contactless access at ATMs, BT customers have all the features they had before, except card activation and PIN setup, for security reasons.

Banca Transilvania is the only bank in Romania that offers, through the BT Pay collection, a range of contactless payment alternatives in the form of wearables: a watch, a bracelet, a sticker, the BT Pay app, Garmin Pay, Fitbit Pay and the BT Pay keyboard/extension.
