With great sadness, we announce that Mihaela Nadasan, Deputy CEO, Financial Institutions and Markets, at Banca Transilvania, has passed away.

Mihaela was part of the bank’s team for 24 years. She began as a settlements officer, then became Head of the Financial Institutions Department, and later Executive Director. Since 2018, she had been part of the bank’s top management as Deputy CEO, responsible for Treasury, investor relations, coordinating the subsidiaries of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group and the Financial Institutions and Markets area. Over the years, she was involved in all the projects that built the BT Group, playing a key role in setting up and selling subsidiaries, as well as in the bank’s entry into new financial areas — leasing, insurance and pensions. Since 2012, she coordinated the BT Group’s mergers and acquisitions activity. She also served on the boards of several group companies.

We will remember her as she was: smiling, warm and professional.
