Banca Transilvania Financial Group is expanding access to investments in funds for customers outside Romania. As a result, Romanians living abroad and foreign customers can invest in funds managed by BT Asset Management from anywhere in the world and at any time, using the BT Pay app.

This service is available to customers who are tax residents of countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Hungary, the United States, the Republic of Moldova, or Turkey - a total of nearly 40 countries. Tax residency refers to the country where a person lives, earns his/her income, and pays taxes.

BT Asset Management offers 14 investment funds in which clients can invest in the following currencies: RON, EUR, and USD. The portfolio includes funds tailored to conservative, moderate, or dynamic investors who invest in fixed-income securities, stocks, or bonds, including funds focused on sectors such as technology, energy, real estate, or agriculture.

BT Pay Makes Investing Easy

To invest in one or more funds, no minimum initial investment is required, and BT Pay allows for recurring transfers and adjustments of the amounts.

Approximately 350,000 people residing in Romania already invest through BT Pay in funds managed by BT Asset Management. 90% of the transactions in these funds are carried out through the app.

BT Asset Management reached approximately 550,000 investment accounts, and the company has RON 13.5 billion assets under management, equivalent to EUR 2.5 billion.
