Banca Transilvania, Tech Source Consulting and Techventures are hosting the Global Fintech Hackathon, a competition for designers and developers to build fintech solutions. It will take place at Banca Transilvania (Șos. Bucureşti – Ploiești nr. 43), in Bucharest, on July 27–28. Registration is free and can be done online by July 24.

Details:

• The competition will bring together 12 teams of designers and developers. They will develop solutions for banking products and services, integrating new technologies related to risk management, trading, investments, personal finance, big data, retail banking and regulatory compliance.
• The winners will receive a free mentorship program at Techventures for 3 months.
• The prizes are: 3,000 euros (First place), 2,000 euros (Second place), 1,000 euros (Third place), 500 euros (People’s Choice Award), and 500 euros (Golden Buzzer).
• Mentoring during the hackathon and judging will be carried out by investors, financial advisors, business angels and fintech representatives.
