STUP expands online access to its free courses for entrepreneurs
After four years in which it ran over 1,000 courses with more than 35,000 attendances by entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, Stup is expanding its online learning offer. With the launch of the Stup comes to you initiative, Stup members can now join weekly live online courses — until now, these were held exclusively at Stup’s premises in Bucharest.
On September 22, the course Viral Hooks on Social Media for Entrepreneurs, led by Silvia Palașcă, is scheduled and can be attended either online or in person at Stup.
Stup, practical support for launching and growing businesses
Stup is the largest entrepreneurship centre in Romania, an ecosystem created by the Banca Transilvania Group for entrepreneurs and for those who want to start their own business. It provides access to the resources needed to turn an idea into a business and to grow it: specialist advice, digital services, financial and non-financial solutions, as well as free-to-attend courses. The community’s meeting point is Stup’s premises in Bucharest, at Calea Șerban Vodă 206-218.
Stup, in numbers:
- 48,000 members in the community;
- 1,000 businesses launched;
- 14,000 entrepreneurs have accessed over 25,000 financial and non-financial, business and digital solutions for needs such as accounting, invoicing, online marketing, cash flow management, financial analysis, legal services, accessing EU funds or recruitment;
- 1,600 businesses have expanded their online presence, gaining access to larger markets, increased visibility and new growth prospects; More than 1,000 learning and networking events;
- 35,000 attendances at courses and workshops held at Stup;
- Over 100 people interacted with Stup every day.

Four years into Stup, we have many reasons to look ahead with confidence. Over 1,000 businesses have been born here in these years, and for us that is a very valuable outcome: ideas that took shape and turned into companies. We’re now taking the natural next step and taking the community experience beyond the physical space. By streaming events live online, we offer all members of the Stup community, wherever they are, access to relevant information, experiences and people they can learn from. We believe in the power of a community where entrepreneurs can learn continuously, exchange ideas and find experiences and perspectives that help them move forward. We thank all the specialists, partners and entrepreneurs who contribute to this community’s growth. Stup has grown through people, and from now on we want everything we build here to be accessible to as many entrepreneurs as possible, wherever they are.
