The transaction under which BT Asset Management intended to become a shareholder in AnimaWings did not go ahead

With regard to the transaction announced in April 2026, which envisaged a possible acquisition of a stake in AnimaWings (Anima Wings SA) by BT Asset Management SAI SA (BTAM), and in the context of the airline’s filing for insolvency, BTAM notes that the transaction did not materialize. Accordingly, BT Asset Management has not been, and is not, a shareholder of AnimaWings.

The announcement made in April expressed interest in a partnership and the possibility of supporting the development of a Romanian entrepreneurial project that would contribute to improving Romania’s connectivity.

Although this transaction did not materialize, BT Asset Management remains focused on identifying and supporting companies and projects with economic potential.
