BT Pay users have new options for managing accounts and cards

Users of BT Pay have new, free options to manage their money and personal accounts:

  • Recurring RON transfers to your BT card from cards issued in Romania by other banks or fintechs, via the Move your money to BT option;
  • Adding BT credit card accounts;
  • Managing the accounts added in the app.

The first option is available on iOS devices and will also be available on Android. The other two features can be accessed on any mobile phone.

More details on the three options:

  • Recurring RON transfers from cards issued in Romania by other banks or fintechs, added in BT Pay, to BT cards. Funds are received on the date set by the user in the app; there is no fee for crediting a BT card.
  • Adding credit card accounts enables, beyond viewing balances and transactions, transfers between your own accounts.
  • Managing the accounts added in the app lets customers rename and reorder them or, as needed, remove an account from BT Pay.

One in two cards issued by Banca Transilvania is also issued in digital format and added to BT Pay. The app helps change behaviours and set new trends, supports financial inclusion and increases the adoption of online banking.
