The modern architecture of Banca Transilvania’s Head Office in Cluj-Napoca has been recognized at Romania’s leading industry competition, the National Architecture Biennale, in the Office buildings category. It was praised for its beauty, innovation and functionality, offering a healthy workplace and supporting responsible urban development.
Banca Transilvania has had its Head Office at Calea Dorobanților 30-36 since January 2021. It spans 38,000 sq m, with nearly 1,400 offices, 30 meeting rooms, an auditorium, a café, a restaurant, underground parking for cars and bicycles, as well as a charging station for electric cars.

Minimalist design and green technologies

The building has achieved BREEAM Outstanding certification, the highest standard for sustainability and efficiency, reached at the time of certification (July 2022) by just under 3% of BREEAM-certified buildings worldwide.

Banca Transilvania worked with LAMINA, QMEC, Mossfern, Fragmentum, Kesz România, MIMO Group, GEI-MEP and IMSAT Cluj on the construction and fit-out of the building.
