Banca Transilvania, together with the Beard Brothers Association, organized a tree-planting event in Cluj County (Maia village) on April 13 this year. Over 400 volunteers, including bank employees, planted trees across 5.5 hectares.

Since 2014, BT has invested over 500,000 euros in tree-planting and environmental volunteering, which means:

• A greener country: 
  • 90 hectares planted in various locations;
  • 300,000 trees planted;
• Building a community of volunteers: over 13,000 people have taken part in such initiatives over the years.

The next event is on April 20 this year, run together with the Electric Castle team, also in Cluj County (Bonțida).

By contributing to these programs, Banca Transilvania is involved in community life and encourages volunteering.
