On September 6, OTP Bank Romania will start disbursing the Szülőföldön Magyarul scholarships. These will be received exclusively into an OTP Bank Romania account, and beneficiaries have several ways to access the funds, including Banca Transilvania ATMs. To ensure efficiency, OTP Bank Romania will make the disbursements in weekly tranches over two months.

The scholarships can be accessed via: 

• card payments with an OTP Bank card, free of charge;
• OTP Bank Romania and Euronet ATMs and Banca Transilvania ATMs, regardless of the number of withdrawals;
• ATMs of other banks in the country, where two withdrawals per month are free; additional withdrawals are subject to fees depending on the bank;
• OTP Bank Romania branches.

Since July 30, 2024, OTP Bank Romania has been part of the Banca Transilvania Group. During the integration into Banca Transilvania, OTP Bank Romania customers will continue to work with OTP Bank Romania for products, services and operations. Recently, the two banks announced the first benefit for OTP Bank Romania customers, namely access to BT ATMs on the same pricing terms they have at OTP Bank Romania.
