Banca Transilvania provides the following details to clarify information that appeared in several online publications on 15 and 16 March 2025 regarding changes to cash withdrawal fees:

• BT has not changed the fees for cash withdrawals at its own ATMs or at other banks’ ATMs.
  
  
• The fee is zero for cash withdrawals at BT ATMs (over 2,000 nationwide) using BT’s most widely used debit cards. One example is BT Visa Classic, the most widely used debit card in Romania.
  
  
• The BT fee of 0.5% (+2.5 lei) mentioned in certain articles applies to cash withdrawals with the BT Visa Classic card at other banks’ ATMs in Romania or abroad, not at BT ATMs.
