Applications Open for the Transilvania Executive Education MBA Program
Applications are now open for the Transilvania Executive Education MBA (TEE MBA), accredited by the University of Buckingham, for courses starting in February 2025.
The 100% British MBA programme, organised in Cluj-Napoca and taught by more than 40 international professors, was launched ten years ago through a partnership between academia and business, with the aim of opening up in Romania educational opportunities offered at international standards. Banca Transilvania is one of the programme’s founders, thereby supporting international executive education for the business community. The bank is also among the companies that award the annual BT Roberto Marzanati Merit Scholarships. For the next TEE MBA cohort, the scholarship competition will be launched in October. Details about the scholarships announced in 2023 are available here. 15% of participants have benefited over the years from scholarships offered by BT, Evergent Investment and Electrogrup.
Details about the Transilvania Executive Education MBA:
- The MBA runs over two years.
- Courses are structured in 13 modules taught in Cluj-Napoca, with one of them delivered in the United Kingdom, at the University of Buckingham.
- Beyond core MBA topics, the programme also includes modules on systems thinking, digital innovation, governance and business ethics, business consulting and entrepreneurship.
- The EMBA 2025 cohort has 20 places.
- The tuition fee for the entire programme is 19,000 euros and can be paid in up to 4 instalments over the two years of study. Discounts and scholarships are also available, with details presented on the TEE Executive MBA website.
Application and admission requirements for the TEE MBA:
- at least three years of post-university professional experience in an executive role;
- English at minimum B2 level.
Applicants can register by sending to office@teecluj.ro, by December 31, 2024: an English-language CV; an English certificate/a diploma attesting studies in English/a letter from the employer if the candidate works or has worked in a British or American company for more than 5 years; two professional references; the degree certificate (bachelor’s/master’s), translated into English. Candidates will then be contacted for an interview.
The Transilvania Executive Education MBA Alumni community includes over 200 graduates; the average age is 35, and the average experience in a management position is over 10 years. Most alumni are in middle and top management, from over 60 companies operating in industries such as IT, automotive, banking, healthcare, retail, marketing, manufacturing, green energy, etc. 60% of MBA graduates were promoted in less than a year after completing the programme.
