Banca Transilvania is supporting the 17th edition of the 2018 National Off-Road Championship, organized by ACS Off Road Transsylvania.

This year, the competition will be held in two stages: on March 30-31 the Banca Transilvania Cup will take place in Gilau, and on June 17-24 the Transsylvania Trophy will be held in Hunedoara. The Banca Transilvania Cup will feature four vehicle classes: Standard A, Standard B, Open and Extreme.

Transsylvania Trophy is the most important international off-road competition in Romania. Last year, the event took place in Baisoara; this year it will be in Hunedoara, where more than 50 competitors are expected.

Banca Transilvania is a long-standing partner of ACS Off Road Transsylvania. BT also supports Romanian sport by organizing the BT Cross every year, supporting Romanian basketball, supporting the Men's and Women's European Artistic Gymnastics Championships (2017), as well as other sports such as running, snooker and cycling.
