The Transylvania Forest tree-planting continued this year. Banca Transilvania and the Tasuleasa Social Association held the Tree-Planting Marathon from March 14 to 19 this year, during which over 1,500 volunteers planted approximately 60,000 saplings across approximately 20 hectares in Tritenii de Jos, Cluj County.

Since 2014, the bank has invested over 430,000 euros in programs dedicated to volunteer tree-planting in Cluj (Tritenii de Jos), Bistrita-Nasaud (Budesti, Budesti-Fanate, Sanmihaiu de Campie), Calarasi (Jegalia) and Bucharest (Videle). More than 12,000 volunteers have taken part, planting over 285,000 saplings on nearly 80 hectares of land, which today are forests.
