BT Financial Group is one of the partners of the Made in Romania project. The project aims to identify and promote innovative Romanian companies. The nomination phase of this edition runs from 15-31 January. Romanian entrepreneurs and employees of innovative Romanian companies are encouraged to submit nominations on the platform: www.bvbleague.ro.

Radu Hanga, Executive Director for Group Strategy & Coordination, BT, said: "We knew the first edition of this project, which we believed in and supported, was a success once some of the participating companies announced their intention to list on the stock exchange. Made in Romania was conceived as a celebration of successful Romanian entrepreneurship, and the evolution from a family business into a listed company is exactly the kind of story to promote in future editions as well."

The project has three stages: nominations, shortlisting and selecting the 15 finalist companies. The finalists will be announced at the Made in Romania Gala in April. Fourteen of the 15 companies will be selected by a special jury made up of market experts (top investors, business angels, entrepreneurs and business professionals). Radu Hanga is also among the jury members. The 15th company will be selected by public vote.

BVB and its partners will support the 15 selected companies through training programs in areas of interest such as branding, sales and marketing techniques, product development, management consulting, financing alternatives, financial reporting, investor relations and the listing process.

The Made in Romania project was launched in 2017 by the Bucharest Stock Exchange to identify, promote and support Romania’s top companies for one year.
