Banca Transilvania is extending loans to farmers whose crops have been affected by drought, so they can meet contractual obligations to suppliers and make the payments now falling due for crops established in the 2014–2015 agricultural year.

A longer loan term, the option to repay in the years following disbursement, and the available financing amount from BT are the main advantages for farmers of the BT loan for drought‑affected crops.

This Banca Transilvania product is intended for those operating farms cultivating over 100 ha in areas officially declared drought‑affected by the authorities. Another requirement is at least two years of activity in agriculture, in the crop sector, as well as proof that operations will continue by establishing crops for the following year.
