Banca Transilvania will launch on Friday, 16 November, the BANK Friday online banking shopping campaign, which will run on the BT website from 8:00 – 23:59.

BANK Friday means discounts, free-of-charge offers and other benefits on a selection of Banca Transilvania products and services: loans, the current account overdraft facility, cards, BT24, the BT Pay app, as well as a range of complementary solutions for entrepreneurs.

This is the 4th year that Black Friday becomes BANK Friday at Banca Transilvania. Through this campaign, BT has offered over 30,000 products and services on promotion in total, making banking increasingly accessible. Every year, the initial stock has sold out and some allocations have been topped up. The most sought-after products and services within BANK Friday to date have been: BT24 Internet Banking & Mobile Banking, credit cards, the Practic BT personal loan, the current account overdraft facility, and SME deposits and loans.

Banca Transilvania was the first to introduce on the Romanian market the concept of banking shopping. These are themed campaigns inspired by the significance of certain dates, events and trends: Bank Friday, Bank to School, DragoBT, Banksylvania, Un Mai Muncitoresc, BaBeTe, Bankschet and Ziua Barbosilor.

Getting BT cards ready for Black Friday shopping

As Black Friday campaigns at different merchants approach, Banca Transilvania has prepared on the online platform Intreb BT information on how to change a card’s daily transaction limit, how to enroll a card in 3D Secure for online payments, as well as other details about BT products and services used to pay for online purchases. Also, the chatbot Livia from BT provides round-the-clock, quick information on the accounts, products and services that a BT customer wishes to check.
