Autonom Services SA has successfully completed its first bond issue through a private placement of EUR 20 million. The bonds have a 5-year maturity, with a 4.45% coupon payable annually, and are to be listed on the regulated market operated by the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The private placement was arranged by BRD and BT Capital Partners – the investment banking and capital markets division of the Banca Transilvania Financial Group – acting as Managers.

"In recent years we have attended events hosted by the Bucharest Stock Exchange, coming closer to this community, especially after Autonom Services was shortlisted for the Made in Romania program in 2017, and, in this context, we decided to diversify our funding sources and extend the average maturity of our funding through a bond issue, thereby making ourselves visible as an issuer on the capital market," said Marius Ștefan, co-shareholder and founder of the Autonom International Group, of which Autonom Services SA is part.

Autonom Services SA is the leading independent Romanian-owned player in Romania’s operating lease and car rental markets, with 44 locations in 33 cities across Romania. In June 2018, Autonom Services SA acquired BT Operational Leasing, Banca Transilvania’s operating lease subsidiary.
