Banca Transilvania announces a new phase of the education programme Take a moment before you click!, the Online safety quiz, running from February 25–April 6, 2025. Through this initiative, BT aims to help more people spot attempted online fraud and to increase awareness of best practices once such attempts are detected.

People aged 18 and over who, on the bank’s website, answer at least 7 out of 15 questions correctly are automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of 10 iPhone 16 handsets, awarded weekly as part of the campaign over six weeks.

Working through the questions is an opportunity to learn about protecting personal data, recognising online risks and, above all, the steps needed to prevent fraud.

BT’s recommendations for responsible behaviour in the digital environment: 

• Critical thinking: analyse information and actions online;
  
  
• Maximum caution: not all information is true and not every user is who they claim to be;
  
  
• Stay informed: fraud attempts are based on increasingly sophisticated techniques aimed at gaining access to money, banking and identification data. For ongoing updates, the bank provides information on Online safety;
