Campaign for Banca Transilvania customers who pay with Mastercard

Banca Transilvania and Mastercard are launching the campaign BT x Mastercard take you to the 2025 Pirelli Gran Premio D’Italia with the McLaren Formula 1 Team for cardholders who make payments with any BT Mastercard (Star Forte, Mastercard Mondo, Mastercard Gold, Mastercard Direct, Mastercard Omnipass and Mastercard Business) totaling at least 500 lei, between June 5–July 31, 2025.

The prizes are experiences at the 2025 Italian Grand Prix (September 5–7), namely the chance to take a lap of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza alongside a professional racing driver, ahead of the race. Winners will be selected by a random draw scheduled for August 8, 2025.

Every fan dreams of feeling what it’s like on the circuit, and now every BT customer using Mastercard cards has that chance. The prizes on offer are experiences to match — the chance to be in a McLaren car and feel the energy of the track up close. We’re pleased to kick off this campaign, after a few days ago — also thanks to Mastercard — we announced the partnership with McLaren. We have another surprise lined up together for July.

Thanks to Mastercard, Banca Transilvania has become the Official Race Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the Formula 1 Lenovo 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, which will take place in Budapest on August 2 and 3, 2025. McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will carry BT and Mastercard logos on their helmets, steering wheel and the McLaren MCL39. Piastri and Norris currently sit first and second in the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship, and the McLaren Formula 1 Team leads the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship.
