The feature that allows entrepreneurs to apply for a BT Mic loan via the Raul chatbot is now available to everyone, even if they are not Banca Transilvania customers.

Electronic signing of the documents required to start assessing a financing request is free of charge.

15% of the microfinance company’s business in 2021 was generated through the Raul chatbot.

BT’s Raul chatbot features:

• Electronic signing of documents for assessing a financing request: loan application, consent to consult the Central Credit Register database, and information on processing personal data in the Credit Bureau system;
• Uploading financial documents;
• Loan simulations based on the monthly amount that can be paid.

Entrepreneurs who don’t have a BT account are identified via a video call, during which they can receive guidance from a dedicated BT Mic team with financing expertise.

In the first year after the Raul chatbot launched, over 15,000 entrepreneurs interacted with it, and more than 1,000 businesses were financed.

BT Mic serves companies with annual turnover of up to 1 million lei. Over five years of activity, the microfinance company has supported more than 18,000 micro-enterprises, which have created over 20,000 jobs.
