EMBA University of Hull, a 100% British business school in Cluj-Napoca, has opened applications for its third cohort of students. Classes start in February 2017, are delivered in 12 modules taught in Cluj-Napoca by faculty from the University of Hull, and run for two years. The EMBA was launched in February 2014 through a partnership between academia and business — Babes-Bolyai University, University of Hull, Banca Transilvania and Electrogrup.

Details:

• Admission requirements for the EMBA University of Hull are: at least three years’ management experience after graduation; strong undergraduate results; and an English-language certificate (Cambridge, IELTS, PTE Academic or Lingua – Business English).
• Admission to the EMBA University of Hull takes place in two stages. First, candidates must send the following documents to office@ubbee.ro: a signed, scanned application form (available on the EMBA/Admissions page of the website); two references; a CV; a copy of the English-language certificate; and a 200-word essay setting out their expectations of the programme, the reasons for choosing to study for an EMBA, and for choosing the 100% British business school. The second stage is an interview.
• The programme fee is EUR 7,500 per year, payable in instalments; Banca Transilvania has an offer in this regard.
• At present, almost 60 people are studying in Cluj-Napoca at this business school, forming the first two cohorts of the EMBA University of Hull.
• Graduates receive an international EMBA diploma awarded by the University of Hull. 
• The EMBA University of Hull is internationally accredited by AMBA (The Association of MBAs) and by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
