You can complete the first three steps of setting up a company online, with help from Banca Transilvania.
From setting up a company to opening the share capital account and a current account with BT, people who want to start a business can take all these steps online. BT is the only bank in Romania to offer entrepreneurs this — three stages, all online, to get their own business up and running.
Banca Transilvania also provides entrepreneurs with a range of online programmes and tools that complement banking — from courses and a Q&A site to a chatbot. BT offers these resources to encourage entrepreneurship and to use the online environment to support entrepreneurial education.
The three online steps to set up your own company with BT:
- Company formation: through REGnet, Banca Transilvania’s partner on BT Store, an online hub with solutions that complement banking, entrepreneurs can access online services to set up or amend a company or a sole trader (PFA), without having to go to the Trade Register.
- Opening the share capital account, one of the requirements for setting up a company: both opening and managing such an account at BT can be done 100% online. From the beginning of the pandemic to date, more than 700 share capital accounts have been opened, and the main sectors for the new companies are trade, IT&C, construction, transportation, and hotels and restaurants.
- Opening the business current account: this can also be done online, via NEOcont, at Banca Transilvania. Depending on the business profile, entrepreneurs can opt for Contul Primul An Gratuit or Nelimitat, with tiers based on the number of transactions each month. The packages include the core services an entrepreneur needs: business debit cards, online banking, account alerts, etc. The bank launched NEOcont for entrepreneurs in June this year, as one of the priorities among digital solutions in the context of the pandemic, and since then over 100 companies have opened an account online with BT.
More than banking for entrepreneurs. All online - Raul the chatbot is one of the real-time communication channels for entrepreneurs, via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Skype. Of these, the WhatsApp Banking option was launched in May this year. Through the chatbot you can instantly retrieve information such as IBAN, account balance, cheques and promissory notes, and since the beginning of the pandemic there have been almost 4,000 unique interactions.
- BT Store gives entrepreneurs access to online solutions for running their business — invoicing, basic accounting, cashflow management, recruitment, eCommerce solutions, an online document generator, web development and financial forecasting. BT’s 15 partner companies are: Smart Bill, Blugento, eJobs, Reteaua Privata de Sanatate Regina Maria, Ebriza, ThinkOut, Calendis Business, REGnet, DocAv, iFactor, IT Hit, Termene.ro, CFO App, PrimeDash and Namirial.
- IntrebBT is an online search tool where you can find out more about Banca Transilvania’s products and services, as well as how to proceed in your relationship with the bank, depending on the context. During the state of emergency it was one of BT’s most visited communication channels, with 1 million visitors making over 2.7 million visits.
- BT Club offers financial education courses for its more than 25,000 members.
