Over 900,000 customers use Banca Transilvania’s Internet Banking, and more than 300,000 bank on their mobile phones, with BT24 giving them fast, 24/7 access to their accounts.

BT24 — the most useful options among its 100+ features:

• On Mobile Banking, you can also authenticate with your fingerprint, which makes it easier to access the app and enhances the security of customers’ transactions. Bills are also very easy to pay, including by scanning the barcode. BT24 Mobile Banking can also be used to top up prepaid phone cards and purchase the road toll vignette.
• Through BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, customers can block their BT card themselves if it is lost. Another handy option is to reset the card PIN if they have forgotten it.
• BT24 also offers features that are unique on the Romanian market, such as the ability to transfer money to a phone number or an email address, as well as to manage mutual fund holdings online.
• BT24 Internet Banking is used mostly for money transfers and bill payments, while BT24 Mobile Banking is mainly used for checking account balances, paying bills, foreign exchange and payments in RON.

The benefits technology brings to customers have led to a significant increase in the number of BT24 users compared with last year: +30% for Internet Banking and +75% for Mobile Banking.
