In May, the Banca Transilvania Group focused its communications on financing for Corporate and Large Corporate clients, as well as milestones reached. It was also the month when BT published its financial results for the first three months of the year and the 2024 Sustainability Report. May also saw the announcement of an international partnership: BT – Mastercard – McLaren Formula 1 Team.
May highlights:
#Financing
- BT financed Quartier Ferdinand, Bucharest’s first zero-emissions residential project, with EUR 20 million.
- Banca Transilvania is part of the consortium that financed Moov Leasing with EUR 110 million. It is the first syndicated facility in the operating leasing segment and will support the company’s nationwide expansion plans and CO2 emissions reduction.
- BT is one of the banks in the syndicate that extended RON 3.1 billion to Electrica Group for refinancing and to support investment plans.
#Milestones
- Through Mastercard, BT became the Official Race Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team at the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix. The partnership covers 2025 and 2026.
- Over 100,000 people invest in BT Asset Management funds using BT Pay.
- More than 300,000 entrepreneurs manage their banking and business via BT Go.
- BT is the most attractive employer in financial services, according to Randstad Employer Brand Research, for the second year in a row.
- Victoriabank is among the first banks in the Republic of Moldova to be accepted into SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area).

- According to its financial results as of 31 March 2025, Banca Transilvania recorded significant growth in operating activity.
- For Victoriabank, 2024 meant sustainable growth across all business lines.
