Banca Transilvania won three awards at the Gala of Excellence in Human Resources, organised by HR Club Romania on April 27 this year, in Bucharest, at JW Marriott Grand Hotel.

Now in its 11th edition, the event is one of the most prestigious HR gatherings, recognising excellence in human resources and people management year after year.

BT received the following awards:

• Special Award for the prevention programme “Screening saves lives”, run by BT together with the Regina Maria Health Network. Started in 2017, it is the most extensive company-based cancer prevention programme in Romania;
• CEO–HR Manager Team of the Year Award for large-scale, high-impact projects carried out in 2018;
• Generation Z Special Award – for BT Con(vention), an event launched by BT in 2018 and dedicated to its team. “The organisation we would like to work for is Banca Transilvania” — said last night the four high school students from Tudor Vianu High School in Bucharest who formed the Generation Z jury.

Banca Transilvania was represented at the gala by Nevenca Doca – Executive HR Director, Mariana Comsa – Deputy HR Director, Andreea Talpos – Head of BT Academy, and Codruta Gaspor – Head of HR Project Management.

Nearly 50 projects were entered in the competition for the HR awards, and the jury was made up of company CEOs and HR directors.

HR Club Romania, the organiser of this competition, is the association of HR professionals. It has nearly 500 members from more than 300 organisations across the country’s main industries. Founded in 2004, the association’s mission is to support the development of human resources by encouraging and promoting best practices in the field.
