BT Mic is launching the Education Loan to support entrepreneurs who run a private school or kindergarten and need financing. The loan provides access, in just a few days, to amounts of up to RON 200,000, backed by a European guarantee.

The launch comes at a challenging time for schools and kindergartens, and for education in general, all the more so as access to finance in this niche is limited. The solution BT Mic is bringing is also a vote of confidence for entrepreneurs who, despite the pandemic, have plans for the future, thereby contributing to the development of education in Romania.

The initiative is part of the Group’s sustainability strategy, which prioritises responsible financing and generating a positive impact in the economy and society.

• The loan is for kindergartens and schools, regardless of legal form — SRL, association or foundation — that have been operating for at least 3 months.
• The financing can be used for any plan in such a business: online platforms, licences, apps, employee training, educational events, fit-out and equipment of premises, miscellaneous expenses, etc.
• The loan term is up to 7 years.
• The guarantee is provided by the European Investment Fund (EIF).
