Bancpost customers have four ways to find out where they can pick up their BT card:

• By calling the Call Centers of the two banks:
  • BT: 0800 800 881; +040 264 30 80 50;  btbancpost@btrl.ro;
  • Bancpost: 0800 110 200 or 021 30 20 789,  infocenter@bancpost.ro – these contacts are available through January 2, 2019 inclusive.
• By sending an SMS with the text CARD to 1834;
• At Banca Transilvania branches;
• From the notice received by post at home.
  
  

BT cards for Bancpost customers began to be distributed at the beginning of October this year to the nearly 500 Banca Transilvania branches, to some Bancpost branches, and via express courier.

BT cards can be used by Bancpost customers starting January 3, 2019:

• Upon receiving their BT card, customers must activate it at Banca Transilvania ATMs using the code received by SMS.
• Bancpost cards will be usable up to and including January 1, 2019.

The integration of Bancpost into Banca Transilvania is underway, and until the end of the year the two banks will operate separately. The BT – Bancpost merger will take place on December 31, 2018.
