Grupul Banca Transilvania aderă la Carta Diversității din România
Banca Transilvania Group joins the Diversity Charter and becomes the signatory from the financial-banking sector with most employees in Romania.
For BT, joining this charter means a public commitment to align with the European principles of diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion, with an impact on the more than 11,600 employees of its companies in Romania: Banca Transilvania, BT Asset Management, BT Capital Partners, BT Code Crafters, BT Direct, BT Leasing, BT Mic, BT Pensii, ICC, Idea::Broker de Asigurare, Idea::Leasing and Salt Bank. In addition to internal policies and its own ESG (Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance) objectives, the Diversity Charter helps Banca Transilvania Group to be part of an international ecosystem, the European Diversity Charter Platform, which facilitates access to resources and best practices in diversity management.
Diversity leadership is a strategic advantage if it is reflected in a company's management style. Managers can be catalysts for an inclusive thinking, resulting in inclusive behaviour and an organisational culture where differences between employees are respected and valued. Diversity is the goal and inclusion is the means, says Ӧmer Tetik, CEO, Banca Transilvania.
We welcome Banca Transilvania Group's decision to join the Diversity Charter platform, a unique project in Romania that aims to motivate signatory organisations to recognise and extend the benefits of integrating diversity into organisational and HR practices. Our signatories will appreciate the exchange of best practices and the valuable opinions of the BT specialists, says Dana Oancea, Co-Founder and Project Manager of the Romanian Diversity Charter.
