Banca Transilvania integrated artificial intelligence into its platform for the first time over the course of the year

Întreb BT had a record number of visitors in 2023 — over 5 million. Compared with 2022, the number of visitors rose by 31%, and visits by 43%.

Banca Transilvania’s online platform is designed as an information search engine, with more than 2,000 questions and answers about banking, and it complements BT’s customer communication channels: the BT website, over 500 branches in 180 towns and cities, the Call Center team, social media channels and chatbots.

• Awareness of Întreb BT has grown year after year; last year, over 70% of visitors went directly to the site, followed by specific searches on Google.
• Most visits came from Romania, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain.
• The most searched topics were account management, garnishments, booking a branch appointment online, bill payment options and logging into Banca Transilvania’s apps.
• Visitors can rate the content on Întreb BT online. 

Since 2023, the AI Search option on Întreb BT has improved access to information

Banca Transilvania integrated artificial intelligence into Întreb BT in October 2023 to simplify interactions and make the platform’s content easier to access. Visitors who use AI Search to look up information about products, services and self-banking solutions receive a response generated by a large language model, which brings together information in a more user-friendly way and draws on multiple sources. Approximately 30,000 unique visitors have used the AI Search option more than 100,000 times to date.
