Starting August 1 this year, Banca Transilvania’s retail customers will benefit from zero fees on the most common banking operations and from the UNLIMITED in the BT Network package, which offers, free of charge or with a monthly fee, various combinations of the following products and services: current account, BT Visa Electron debit card, BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, and SMS Alert.

Details:

• At Banca Transilvania, from August 1 this year, for retail customers there will be no fee on incoming credits to a BT account from a BT account (intrabank) made by payment order, and on payments from BT account to BT account (also intrabank) made via BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.
• The UNLIMITED in the BT Network package includes, for retail customers, free services or a monthly fee for the following bundles of services and products:
  • Current account at Banca Transilvania + BT Visa Electron debit card: free
  • Current account at Banca Transilvania + BT Visa Electron debit card + BT24 Internet Banking: 1 leu/month
  • Current account at Banca Transilvania + BT Visa Electron debit card + BT24 Internet Banking + SMS Alert: 6 lei/month
  • Current account at Banca Transilvania + BT Visa Electron debit card + BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking + SMS Alert: 10 lei/month
• The contactless BT Visa Electron debit card can be used for purchases in Romania and abroad. There are zero fees for issuance, annual administration, purchases made with this card, bill payments, and cash withdrawals from Banca Transilvania ATMs. It was named Shopping Card of the Year 2016 thanks to the total number of payments made with it last year (39.4 million), as well as the total value spent on the card (4,175 million lei). More than 2 million people use the BT Visa Electron card.
• BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking: Over 700,000 retail customers use Banca Transilvania’s Internet Banking.
• With SMS Alert, BT customers receive information on their mobile phone about card transactions and the money in their account. 500,000 BT retail customers use this service.

Banca Transilvania has more than 2 million active retail customers.

A few days ago, BT launched the UNLIMITED in the BT Network feature for companies. Also available from August 1 this year, the new current account package with unlimited transactions at Banca Transilvania reduces business costs. For corporate clients, UNLIMITED in the BT Network means zero additional banking charges for online transactions and for debit-instrument payments carried out between BT SME customers.
