Banca Transilvania is expanding its online services for entrepreneurs with the launch of 100% online opening and management of the share capital account. With this new feature, BT supports entrepreneurs who want to set up an SRL or SRL-D company, making the start-up phase as straightforward as possible.

The bank serves nearly 275,000 SME and Microbusiness clients. This year, 23,000 share capital accounts have been opened with BT. 1 in 3 start-ups launched in 2019 work with BT.

“The first step for a start-up at the bank is opening a share capital account. For the first time, this can now be done online, from a phone or desktop. Together with our BT Store partners, our online hub with products that complement banking, we want to help those with an entrepreneurial mindset do business either online or in person, but always easily and simply” - says Daniel Szekely, Executive Director SME & Microbusiness, BT.  

The 5 steps to open the share capital account with BT:

• Identity verification by uploading a photo/scan of the administrator’s ID;
• Enter company details;
• Provide contact details to receive online the documents required to open the share capital account;
• iPay: deposit the share capital by card issued by BT or another bank (minimum amount: 200 lei; maximum amount: 1,000 lei);
• Electronically sign the documents after receiving them by email (enrolment form, data processing consent and deposit slip).

There is no opening fee for the share capital account, and the account can be funded by card.
