Award for Excellence in Human Resources Management
Nevenca Doca, Senior Executive Director of Human Resources at Banca Transilvania, received the excellence award in human resources management for strengthening the largest workforce in the banking sector, at the gala organized by Capital and Evenimentul Zilei in Bucharest.
A few of the remarks delivered at the gala:
-
"I invite you to consider that when we talk about the largest network, we’re not just talking about numbers, but about people. There are more than 12,000 of us in the BT Group, each with a story — an anonymous story the world does not know. One such story happened last week: I received an email about an incident at a branch elsewhere in the country. Our customers, parents who had come to the bank with their little girl of about four, gave her a candy that she almost choked on; she couldn’t breathe and had started to turn blue. The parents were in shock, but one of our colleagues, Ana, stepped in quickly, performed a few maneuvers and saved her. Although Ana was an angel for this little girl, she told us modestly, I’m glad it all ended well. Every time you walk into a bank, please remember that behind the counters there are people with life stories — I ask you to be patient with them."
-
"A major project, with very concrete and tangible impact on some of our colleagues’ lives, is the prevention program for the most common types of cancer, Screening saves lives, run together with Rețeaua de Sănătate Regina Maria. Since March 2017, when we launched it, 124 lives have been saved thanks to this program. If we talk about return on investment, this is the program whose ROI is measured in lives saved."
-
"Technology will help HR even more to provide quality services both to management and to our colleagues across the company. High-quality, highly granular data will help us personalize actions and decisions to meet the different needs of our community of colleagues. And HR people will focus even more on developing, advising and caring for colleagues."

- Despite challenges such as inflation and a highly dynamic labor market, eNPS remained stable in January 2023;
