The BT Basarabia Branch, located in Bucharest at 110 Basarabia Blvd., Bl. L8, Sector 2, will from now on primarily serve customers with mobility, visual and hearing impairments. It is the first bank branch in Romania with this dedicated focus.
Previously a standard BT branch, it has been adapted — through its design and fittings — to make access to products, services and transactions easier.
The BT Basarabia Branch offers:
- Access ramp
- Accessible service counters
- ATM positioned at an optimal height
- Tactile mat marking the entrance to the bank
- Access to the Voci pentru mâini programme, which enables communication with interpreters who assist people with hearing impairments.

The facilities at the BT Basarabia Branch will consistently comply with the requirements of the National Authority for Consumer Protection and the National Disability Council of Romania, to uphold the rights of customers with disabilities and support inclusion.
