The month of May highlighted BT Group's solid growth direction. The financial results for the first quarter, the positive evolution in the brand value, and the increase in the rating given by Fitch reconfirm the group's strong position in Romania and in the region. At the same time, the month brought new launches for clients, significant financings for the economy, recognitions in the employer rankings, and active presence in relevant economic discussions.

Banca Transilvaniathe year started with positive financial results, growth in all lines of business and consistent commercial activity, strengthening its position as a leader in Romania and Southeast Europe. It was also the month in which were published financial results for the first three months of Victoriabank.

Banca Transilvania climbed to second place, from the third position, in the top of the most valuable Romanian brands, with a brand value of 876 million euros, according to the Brand Finance Romania 50 2026 evaluation.

#Rating

Fitch Ratings the long-term issuer rating has increased (IDR) of Banca Transilvania from "BBB-" to "BBB", with one notch above the country rating.

• BT has opened four Mortgage Centers in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, dedicated to consulting and granting loans for the purchase of a home.
