Intreb BT had a record number of visitors last year, over 2 million, up 55% versus 2018, and approximately 5 million visits.

This is Banca Transilvania’s largest online financial education programme, designed as an online support channel with Q&A information about banking and BT products and services. Since last year, the platform has included multimedia content, with video.

3 trends noted by Banca Transilvania:

• More and more people access Intreb BT from their phone (75%);
• The most searched topics were: the difference between a credit card and a debit card; how to get a loan; the SWIFT code, the bank account IBAN and BT branch addresses;
• Most visitors are aged 25 to 34 (35%).

“With Intreb BT, the bank has its own information search engine available to customers and beyond. We’ve grown the content year after year, added multimedia, and we’re pleased to see interest reflected in the numbers. A priority for the period ahead is to turn the #Studentiepebune category into the place where young people can find all the answers about banking: online and within easy reach.” - said Sergiu Mircea, Coordinating Director, Marketing & Communication, Banca Transilvania.

The platform covers 30 information categories, such as: Current accounts, Loans, Deposits, Cards, BT24, BT Pay, Apple Pay, Responsible lending, Transactions and BT Store.

Intreb BT was launched almost 6 years ago and has grown with the help of the bank’s customers and the BT team, who continuously contribute ideas for questions and answers.
