BT Visual Help adds a new card management option
🔸 Record number of in-app interactions in November: around 100,000 🔸
BT Visual Help now includes a new, useful option to help customers manage their cards and money when they need to dispute a card transaction. Customers who contact BT’s call center are guided to the self-banking platform — developed together with the fintech CallVU (Israel) — to the Dispute transactions option. Since the 2019 launch, BT and CallVU have continually expanded the range of options for individual and business customers.
The figures show the pandemic has significantly accelerated usage of the mobile banking app, with customers no longer needing to visit a branch. In November this year, BT Visual Help recorded a record number of interactions, almost 100,000 — 8 times higher than in February this year. 70% of monthly sessions are initiated by new users.
For customers who need to dispute a card transaction, the steps are now simpler:
With the new option, you can dispute certain transactions made with a physical or digital card, at ATMs, POS terminals or online. The steps are:
- Call one of the following numbers:
- 0264 308 000
- Or 0264 308 028 / Select the BT Visual Help option
- Open the link received by SMS
- Log in
- Select Dispute transactions in BT Visual Help and follow the steps to complete the process
Other self-banking options in BT Visual Help:
- Transaction history for each BT current account (last 3 days);
- Request an account statement;
- Information on installment payments with our Star cards;
- Amounts on hold/amounts pending to be debited from the account for card transactions or at other banks’ POS terminals;
- Details of amounts due on BT credit cards;
- Account information — IBAN, account balance, currency, number of Star points;
