Întreb BT saw a record number of visitors in 2022, over 4 million

The Întreb BT platform was visited last year by over 4 million people, +11% versus 2021. The number of visits rose by almost 30%.

Banca Transilvania’s largest online financial education programme is designed as a search engine, making it easy to find information on all the bank’s products and services. With almost 2,000 questions and answers about banking, it serves as a source of information, education and guidance.

Întreb BT enjoys very high recognition, and its brand awareness has been strengthening year after year. Over 60% of visitors accessed the site directly, followed by specific Google searches that led them to Întreb BT.

Compared with 2021, the bank noted a shift in 2022 in the topics searched by people visiting the site, with a clear focus on BT’s online solutions: BT24 Mobile Banking, managing garnishments, booking branch appointments, getting account statements online and bank transfers.

By age group, interest was highest among people aged 25–34, followed by those 35–44 and 45–54. The average age decreased compared with 2021, with the 25–34 segment becoming predominant.

Interest in banking information from Romanians living abroad is also on the rise. The site is accessed mainly from Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and the Republic of Moldova. The biggest increase in visits came from the Netherlands (35%), with Austria and Italy up by around 20% each.

Întreb BT complements the bank’s customer communication channels — the BT website, its 500 branches in 180 towns and cities, the Call Center team, social media channels and chatbots.
