Intreb BT was one of Banca Transilvania’s most visited communication channels in 2020, with a record number of visitors — over 3 million — up 54% from 2019. The platform saw heavy traffic even during the state of emergency, when it had over 1 million visitors.

With more than 1,600 questions and answers on banking, Intreb BT is for people who want to know as much as possible about the bank’s products and services, and how to proceed in their dealings with the bank in different situations.

Intreb BT in 2020:

• Over 8,200 visitors used the platform every day.
• Trends observed by the bank since 2018 continued on the platform: more people access Intreb BT on mobile (76%), and the largest share of visitors are aged 25 to 34 (33%).
• The platform recorded its highest annual visitor number to date, over 3 million.
• There were over 8 million visits, most from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi and Brasov.
• Visitors were most interested in information on cards, current accounts, the BT Pay app, BT24 Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, as well as loans.
• During the state of emergency, Intreb BT was used by 1 million visitors, who made over 2.7 million visits over two months.
• Peak traffic was reached on April 14, when the site had nearly 23,000 visitors.
• Intreb BT has a new design.

Intreb BT was launched in 2014 and is Banca Transilvania’s largest financial education program.
