Banca Transilvania encourages OTP Bank Romania customers — both retail and corporate — to act promptly in picking up the BT cards issued for them, as the integration of OTP Bank into BT is in its final stretch, with the merger of the two banks taking place in a month, on February 28.

The bank also recommends activating the cards immediately after pickup at any Banca Transilvania ATM, and for retail customers to download the BT Pay app.

Distribution of the more than 320,000 BT cards started in December 2024.

Customers can pick up their card from the Banca Transilvania or OTP Bank branch it was sent to; they can also book an appointment online on the BT website.

How OTP Bank customers can find out which branch they need to visit to pick up their card:

• From the notice received by courier or email;
• Via the Banca Transilvania website;
• Through BT Call Center & Customer Care: 0800 800 881; +40264 308 014; otp@bancatransilvania.ro;
• At Banca Transilvania and OTP Bank Romania branches.

Cards issued by Banca Transilvania can be used starting March 2, 2025.
