Banca Transilvania is once again among the Top 100 Most Desired Employers in Romania, ranking 11th in the national listing compiled by Catalyst Solutions, one of the most comprehensive barometers of employer attractiveness for job candidates.
Now in its 21st edition, the study captures both candidates’ preferences and expectations, as well as how they relate to the labor market.
Details about the Catalyst Solutions study:
- It was conducted from November 2025 to April 2026.
- Nearly 11,000 people working in fields such as IT and communications, engineering, social and economic sciences, healthcare and pharma took part in the study.
- The ranking is based on unaided responses to the question What are the top 5 employers you would like to work for?
- According to the study, the factors influencing the frequency of mentions are the organization’s size, geographic footprint and the diversity of roles available.
Candidates’ expectations
In 2026, when choosing an employer, the decisive criteria are:
- An attractive pay package — for nearly 7 in 10 candidates (68%);
- Job security (60%);
- Benefits beyond salary (59%).
Respondents also want employers to provide training and support for using AI. The data indicate that employees are not rejecting the technology, but set conditions: AI adoption is even expected, provided it comes with transparency, professional training and people’s involvement in the change process:
- More than half of respondents expect employers to offer training and support for using AI (55%), be transparent about how the technology is used in the company (55%), and ensure that data are protected and that AI is adopted ethically (54%).
- Almost half of candidates want concrete opportunities for upskilling and reskilling (50%) and want assurances that artificial intelligence will not put their jobs at risk (49%).
